Notice
Before assembly, the assembly material and the element to be assembled must be checked for correctness. The load-bearing capacity of the foundations must be checked by the assembly company before installation. Please ensure that the elements are cleaned regularly after assembly (see the cleaning data sheet).
assembly instructions
If the assembly instructions or extracts shown here are not followed, the manufacturer, KNUMOX GmbH, assumes no liability or warranty.
Please note during installation/assembly
Observe legal regulations: When carrying out relocation work, occupational health and safety regulations and technical guidelines must be observed. Local peculiarities must always be taken into account. Boundary distances, other aspects of neighborhood law, official requirements and regulations must also be observed and complied with accordingly. In case of doubt or uncertainty, we recommend consulting a specialist or specialist planner.
Please also observe the applicable occupational health and safety regulations and corresponding specifications when unloading.
Do not apply any silicone or covers that have not been approved in writing by KNUMOX.
Always ensure that the elements are adequately secured, have a stable base/foundation and that there is sufficient water drainage. Elements should not be knocked. We recommend that you take particular care when installing them, as the edges can be sensitive to knocks or impacts.
- Neighborhood law (varies from state to state)
- Standards and other requirements arising from construction
- Always ensure adequate water drainage from the elements
- Elements should not be pushed at any time
- The product should be handled with particular care when installing the KNUMOX elements, as the edges in particular can be sensitive to knocks or impacts during installation.
KNUMOX elements were designed and developed for the following applications
All KNUMOX products are individually manufactured in a factory with a high proportion of manual work. This means that all of these products are unique. The uniqueness can be further enhanced by the use of natural products such as sand, water and additives. This leads to an attractive variation in shape and color. The KNUMOX elements were designed for the special loads in outdoor areas and offer a wide range of design options as individual eye-catchers or in a closed structure in conjunction with plants. The elements may only be used as free-standing elements and not as slope protection or fall protection. The special care instructions must also always be observed. The stability must be adapted to the local conditions according to a suitable foundation. Soil values and load assumptions must always be taken into account on site. KNUMOX GmbH can only make recommendations that must be adapted to the local conditions by a specialist. Special sizes and individually designed surfaces with motifs are available on request. Please do not attach the system to foundations, L-stones, wall panels that do not clearly ensure that the elements are anchored securely.
mounting box
All the tools you need for assembly are put together in a box. €50.00 (gross) rental fee including return label 14 days rental period, otherwise €500.00 (gross) upon purchase/loss
cleaning and care
The KNUMOX elements can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth or a microfiber cloth designed for glass, clear water or, if necessary, glass cleaner. The upper edges should also be cleaned frequently to remove dirt and other environmental influences. The edges of the elements must be kept free of snow and ice in winter. This will ensure that you can enjoy the KNUMOX elements for a long time.
Storage of KNUMOX elements and accessories
The KNUMOX elements must be protected from the effects of the weather and large temperature fluctuations, especially from sunlight when packaged, and stored accordingly. Care must be taken to ensure safe storage. KNUMOX excludes all liability if the work is not carried out correctly. The transport frames are not intended to be able to be lifted by crane and are not suitable or approved for this purpose.
Installation of the KNUMOX aluminum block
Align the aluminum block on the concrete foundation and place it in the desired alignment. The holes in the aluminum block are pre-determined; mark the holes on the concrete foundation. The aluminum block, with the pre-determined holes, serves as a template.
foundation
Excavate the foundation. Compact the base of the box and ensure adequate drainage. Install a blinding layer and compact it sufficiently. Create formwork so that the foundation can have a flat surface on top. Pour in concrete, compact it and level it off so that the elements will later be vertical. Allow the concrete to harden sufficiently. Please note that water cannot remain directly on the elements and will always run off. There must always be a joint all the way around so that any water can run off. Blinding layer has been installed.
